Digital treasure entertainment (dte) is a gaming company that has been created as a consequence of its founders' strong tie-ins with Germany's film industry.
As part of Bavaria Film Partner's network, DTE has strong relationships with all of Germany's large-scale Film Producers, creating national as well as international products.
Two long-term partners, Roland Schaffner and Chriz Merkl established this privately owned company in 2010. Founding dte was a required and natural next step in light of the growing amount of film projects that both partners were involved in and that required gaming content as a fun and commercial add-on.
Today, dte's services range from games that are fully integrated into the overall marketing strategy of any respective film - prior to its release - to creating additional value on a DVD in terms of a game as a special feature item.
In addition to Game-Play-Development in general, it is dte's claim to achieve a smart Web 2.0 integration of any respective game to increase the audience's awareness of any film dte's games are tied-in with. For this DTE is working with its partner company
mmc. Because of this partnership dte can also offer ideas on sophisticated advertisements that become an integrated element of the game itself.

FFF Bayern fördert Spieleklassiker, Knobelspiele und die Rettung der Welt
Der Games-Vergabeausschuss des FFF Bayern hat gestern getagt und entschieden, zehn Projekte mit einer Gesamtsumme von 413.000 Euro zu fördern. Insgesamt waren 21 Projekte eingereicht worden. Der höchste Betrag entfiel auf den Bereich Prototypenentwicklung: Hier werden drei Projekte mit insgesamt 196.000 Euro unterstützt.
